Today, we proudly presented one of our famous folk dances in the Philippines, the Tinikling. We may not be experts of this since all of us are almost first-timers in dancing Tinikling (last time I did this was once/twice during grade school), our hearts are pounding with joy and pride, yet, humbled with so much positive feedbacks.
And this moment will not going to happen without these wonderful people who made this possible.
- To The Rotary Club of Corowa , thank you for the initiative of letting us be part of this wonderful community event.
- To JBS ( Rivalea Australia ), Ms. Jaime and Boss Vagner, thank you for all the support you have given us. Your presence during the performance really meant a lot for us.
- To the Filipino-Australian Community of Albury-Wodonga, Inc. (FACAW), Tita Judy, Ate Ardleigh, and others, thank you for always being supportive, allowing us to use your props and costumes, and especially your extra effort and encouragement to do this performance.
- To my fellow performers (Jhoie, Mark Anthony, Mark Christian, Aljon, and Felicity), thank you so much for letting me BUDOL you to do this. I am so proud of all of you. To Shoko, our official photographer, thank you for capturing our best moments. To my hubby, Jim, well.. you don't have a choice. Love you.
- And to all the Filipinos who came to support us, you, Kabayans, proved that there is still unity in us despite of our differences. Also to our other Asian friends, thank you for your claps and cheers.
- And to all Corowa people who were there, thank you for appreciating our performance. We are forever grateful for your warmth and kindness.
Looking forward to seeing you all to the next glimpse of Filipino culture.
