New Years Eve Fireworks

This was a community funded fireworks display co-ordinated by the Club.  There were two displays, one at 9:30pm for the families and children and the traditional midnight display.

While the fireworks proved to be a popular event, it was a constant problem to raise sponsors and community fundraising giving.

Also, fireworks were not considered a valid activity during the summers of extreme heat and bushfires, and so the event was discontinued.

Federation Fireworks

The Club decided to focus on the Federation Festival Weekend, and the fireworks are now staged in the RSL Park on the Saturday evening of the Federation Weekend at 9.30 pm. The event can then be a family friendly event for the community.
